Artworker by day, obsessive music collector by night: that’s one way to describe me! I’ve been in love with music ever since I was a small boy and the passion still burns strong. I’ve sung and played drums for several local bands over the years and I also play keyboards and write and record my own material in my spare time.
I’m fairly new to this DJing lark, having cut my teeth on an online radio station with a weekly show that ran for 6 months. By then I was hooked, of course! I love that The Voice is a genuinely local radio station playing an eclectic mix of music and showcasing the talents of all the great broadcasters who inform and entertain the ever growing listenership.
For my show, I’m always hunting down the old but hidden gems and discovering new yet obscure music that perhaps hasn’t been given the ‘big label push’ that more established acts benefit from, and this is what I hope to bring to the Voice: something fresh and different that the folks at home may not have heard but may fall in love with!
I’m a local boy through and through; born in Barnstaple Hospital, raised in Lynton and currently living in Barnstaple with my wife Beccy, our Alaskan Malamute Indiana (‘Indy’) and our two cats Minnie and Frankie.
