Belly Flop Movement & Writing workshop
For pregnant and postpartum mothers, grandmothers, and people who birth. Join two mothers, Sam and Perdita to explore matrescence and the transformation we go through becoming mothers, in an intimate and humorous workshop using movement & writing.
“Empowering, moving and fun!” - F Wordz workshop participants
Comedy-dance-theatre practitioner Sam Gilroy and writer Perdita Stott invite you to explore, play and reconnect with our bodies, in an open, supportive space where all emotions are allowed, and babies and children 0-4 are welcome. ( A member of staff will be available to support with child minding -please let us know ages of the child/ren when booking )
Try something new and leave feeling energised, creative and connected. No movement or writing experience needed! Stationary will be provided.
Sam’s work often delves into myths and taboos in order to laugh and celebrate the everyday failures, and know that we are not alone.
