This one day workshop offers experienced guidance and instruction for beginners and those with some calligraphy experience wishing to try their hand at a different calligraphic skill.
We will use both brush and pen to learn to draw versal capitals, in black ink, colourful paint and pencil.
No calligraphy experience needed.
Based on historic lettering principles we will be introducing more contemporary elements.
Essential materials are provided. A favourite short quote to write out might be helpful.
Tea & Coffee available throughout the day for a small donation.
