More Information (The Voice is not responsible for external websites)
KINections is a project supporting networking and professional development for rurally based emerging artists based in the South West, who face geographical, social and economic barriers to developing professional careers in the Creative Industry.
The exhibition features work by 13 artists who are in the early stages of their career/development (this includes graduates within 6 years of graduation, those returning to making art after a break, and those whose development has been hampered by life circumstances or lack of resources). All of the artists are living/working in places outside of main urban centres; with a lack of public and cultural infrastructure; or open countryside/coastal areas.
An opening event will take place on Saturday 9th May 2 - 4pm in The Plough's newly refurbished Gallery.
