With Kirk Field, Ru Callender
Take a strobe down memory lane for a euphoric hit of rave nostalgia mixing spoken word, big screen visuals. satirical panel shows, song, social commentary and storytelling with UK rave raconteur Kirk Field - Mixmag’s original raving reporter and award-winning author of Rave New World. This show is "Thoroughly recommended" by Fatboy Slim, and has toured UK theatres after a run at Edinburgh Fringe.
If you're a fan of The KLF with hits like '3am Eternal' and 'Last train to Transcentral' then you'll love part two of this show. Kirk Field will be in conversation with special guest 'punk undertaker' and master of 'MuMufication', Ru Callender from The KLF's new project, The People's Pyramid. Ru's incredible memoir What Remains is currently being adapted for the big screen after Kathy Burke read it and urged Working Title to sign it up. (Mackenzie Crook is rumoured to play Ru).
This unique evening of nostalgia, laughter and revelation is a must see for anyone who lost themselves in the lasers in the 90s or can't remember if they lost themselves in lasers in the 90s!
