More Information (The Voice is not responsible for external websites)

Discover the weird and wonderful world of the undergrowth with ecologist, wildlife artist and author John Walters, for a special evening talk with us at Quince Honey Farm. John will take you on a journey to explore some marvellous creatures and their rather astonishing behaviours, including the mating dance of the Hairy-footed Flower Bee, the migrations of moths, the industrious Heath Potter Wasp, the world’s largest slug, and the bizarre life of the Green-banded Broodsac flatworm. John Walters is a passionate observer of wildlife who explores the natural world through art, photography and video, which is how he will introduce you to these secret worlds and the creatures within. He has worked as a consultant entomologist and naturalist on many television and radio programmes, including the BBC’s ‘Wild Isles’ and ‘Life in the Undergrowth’ with David Attenborough, and ‘My Garden of a Thousand Bees’ with wildlife filmmaker Martin Dohrn.
