Matt is a born and bred North Devonian, living on the edge of Exmoor National Park.

He became interested in radio as a child, listening to Late Night Sou' West on Radio Devon with Chris Langmore and Howard James. Then, just before he left Pilton, a leaflet came in the post, saying a new radio station for North Devon was on the way - Lantern FM -  which further spurred his love of radio.

Aside from presenting on The Voice, Matt runs his family business from home, doing minibus travel and private hire, airport travel, school contracts (as well as the dreaded late stuff on Saturday nights!).
