Emma Marston

Emma grew up in North Devon. She started out in radio as a teenager presenting on hospital radio, Lantern FM and was part of Paul Hopper’s posse on BBC Radio Devon!

Whilst doing her degree in Leicester she helped to set up the university radio station Demon FM. After that, Emma worked as a local BBC radio journalist for five years across the BBC stations in the Midlands.

She moved to London to work as a radio producer on BBC Radio 1. Her radio career continued with highlights such as producing Boy George’s show Clubversive, launching and producing the national radio chart show hit40uk with Katy Hilland then launching and producing Heart’s breakfast show with Jamie Theakston.

Emma moved back home to North Devon in 2013 to raise her son by the sea… You can now find her mostly on the beach, and jumps in the sea whenever she has the chance… Yes, even in the winter!
